The business seeks an Accountant to join their team inLondon. This role will be a hybrid of both Management and Financial Accountant responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

The role involves various financial and management tasks such as:

• Compiling monthly management reports for a group of companies

• Prepare and deliver presentations to clients and internally, and provide information and explanations as required

• Apply technical accounting and regulatory knowledge to the preparation of management accounts and annual financial statements

• Contributing to the enhancement and implementation of finance team procedures

• Preparing management accounts and board reporting across a portfolio of renewable energy special purpose vehicles (“SPVs”) at various stages of their lifecycle.

• Delivering high quality management accounts and ad-hoc management information to be supplied to internal and external stakeholders.

• Preparing detailed annual budgets to ensure variance analysis is focused (with in depth contractual analysis and a methodical approach.

• Liaising with auditors and tax advisers

• Managing treasury operations and overseeing statutory filings for a portfolio of SPVs

Experience and Qualifications:

• Qualified Accountant - ACA/CIMA/ACCA

• Advanced Excel skills

• Experience of management accounting and reporting within a demanding, high growth business

• Working knowledge of SAP Business ByDesign strongly preferred

• Experience of managing a portfolio of companies in a client facing role (desirable)

• Exposure within the renewable energy sector (desirable)
