Legal Counsel (Renewable Energy IPP)
In partnership with a leading Independent Power Producer (IPP) emphasizing on renewable energy projects across East Asia, the Green Recruitment Company is on the lookout for a meticulous and seasoned Legal Counsel. Responsibilities:
Legal Advisory: Provide expert legal advice on various matters including project contracts, finance agreements, and regulatory compliance to safeguard the company’s interests.
Contract Negotiations: Lead and facilitate contract negotiations ensuring favorable terms for the organization while mitigating potential risks.
Regulatory Compliance: Stay abreast of the regulatory landscape of the renewable energy sector, advising on compliance and potential impacts of regulatory changes on the company’s operations.
Dispute Resolution: Manage dispute resolution processes effectively, steering clear of potential legal pitfalls.
Policy Development: Assist in the formulation and refinement of company policies to align with legal requirements and best practices.
Qualifications:
A Law degree from a recognized university with a license to practice in South Korea.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a legal role, preferably within the energy sector or a corporate environment.
Fluent in Korean and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with the legal and regulatory landscape of the renewable energy sector in East Asia.
Skills:
Analytical Thinking: Ability to dissect complex legal documents and provide informed interpretations and advice.
Negotiation Skills: Proven negotiation skills to represent the company favorably in various agreements and contracts.
Risk Management: Demonstrated aptitude in risk assessment and mitigation from a legal standpoint.
Collaborative Approach: Capability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, providing legal insights and guidance.
