Job description

​The Land Contracts Analyst will be responsible for coordination of land activities, maintenance and consolidation of land records, transactional documents, and project data supporting all aspects of land activity.

This position requires attention to detail, hands-on work ethic, and a desire to help us build and grow.

  • Build and maintain contracts database, provide reports to track obligations, renewals, and expirations, and take actions as necessary to maintain compliance.

  • Coordinate with Land and Accounting to timely process and track invoices, check requests, and wire transfers.

  • Assist with record keeping, tracking, and communication with external parties regarding ownership changes, payments, and other related matters.

  • Strong understanding of land contracts such as leases, easements, and other real property contracts and transactional documents

  • Assist with mailing campaigns, owner calls, and transactional work

  • Coordinate with field personnel and landowners

  • Review land documents and maintain digital and physical files

  • Record transactional documents

  • Compile data into spreadsheets and various reports

  • Handle inquiries and questions

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of land/contracts management experience in renewables, oil and gas or real estate industry

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or a strong track record of relevant experience

  • Strong understanding of land and legal descriptions, county recording processes, and land title and curative

  • Experienced with administering contract management best practices and systems.

  • Candidate must possess good verbal and written skills

  • Basic understanding of land functions

  • Must be a motivated self-starter, with a strong attention to detail and good organizational & reasoning skills

  • Proficiency with MS Office products Excel, Word, and PowerPoint and other cloud based data systems.

  • Experience with ArcMap or other geospatial tools a plus

  • Notary public a plus
