​Our client, a leading Renewables focused Investment manager, are looking to hire a Junior Investment Manager in Rome. It is essential that the candidate has capabilities in the negotiation and transaction side of a business.

The role:

• Strong pipeline of origination, high conversion rates

• Managing / support origination in line with the 3-year plan and Infrastructure strategy and under oversight of Partners

• Manage and complete new investments from a lead position, with team support

• Managing junior resource on deals

• Responsibility for ensuring post investment checklist completed and all relevant deal information stored

• Oversee asset performance of investments completed by individual and be able to report internally on them

• Lead an exit through to completion, with support of team

• Execution on development of new investment strategies and other value creation ideas

• Support Directors and Partners in all areas of fundraising

• Leadership role, managing 1-2 people

Skills:

• 3+ years of experience within project finance or equity investment with a strong emphasis on financing Energy transition / infrastructure investments

• Capacity to originate, structure and execute transactions.

• Strong financial modelling skills – building and reviewing advanced and complex financial models

• Leading the due diligence process and supported by exported advisors.

• Performing risk analysis and proposing necessary mitigants for Equity or Debt investments

• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to assess investment opportunities critically and commercially

• Excellent communication (written and verbal)

• Fluent in English & Italian
