Role Overview:

We’re looking for an experienced Installation Manager to lead installation teams across domestic renewable energy projects throughout the UK.

This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing Solar PV, battery storage (BESS), and EV charging installations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate installation teams and subcontractors across multiple UK sites

  • Oversee end-to-end delivery of Solar PV, battery storage, and EV charger installations

  • Conduct pre-tender surveys and provide technical design/procurement input

  • Ensure compliance with CDM regulations and H&S legislation

  • Supervise testing, commissioning, and system handover

  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting

  • Monitor labour/material budgets and manage project profitability

  • Drive quality, safety, and process improvements

Experience:
  • Proven leadership experience managing installation teams and subcontractors.

  • Strong knowledge of PV, battery storage, and EV charger installations.

Qualifications:
  • C&G 2360 Part 1 & 2, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.

  • C&G 2391 (or 2394/2395) and 18th Edition (BS 7671).

  • MCS-accredited training/certification in Solar PV installation (e.g., C&G 2922, BPEC or LCL Level 3 in Solar PV and EESS).

  • Site Supervisors Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS).

  • ECS Gold Card and full, clean UK driving licence.
