Job Description:

We are currently seeking a skilled Contract Hydrogeologist to join our dynamic team in London. The successful candidate will play a key role in conducting hydrogeological assessments, managing groundwater resources, and providing expert advice to support our clients' projects.

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct hydrogeological investigations, including data collection, analysis, and interpretation.

  2. Perform groundwater modelling to assess aquifer characteristics and flow dynamics.

  3. Evaluate environmental impacts related to groundwater use and propose mitigation strategies.

  4. Collaborate with project teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

  5. Prepare technical reports and documentation to communicate findings and recommendations effectively.

  6. Provide expert advice on water resource management and sustainable groundwater practices.

  7. Work closely with clients to understand project goals and deliver tailored hydrogeological solutions.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Hydrogeology, Geology, or a related field.

  2. Proven experience in hydrogeological assessments, with a focus on groundwater modeling.

  3. Familiarity with relevant software tools for groundwater modeling and data analysis.

  4. Strong understanding of environmental regulations and permitting processes.

  5. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

  6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

  7. Membership in a relevant professional organization is desirable.
