​Job Title: Head of Solar Rooftop Delivery

Salary: Up to £90,000 per annum plus bonus

Our client, a leading renewable energy company, is seeking an experienced Head of Solar Rooftop Delivery to join their team in the UK. As Head of Solar Rooftop Delivery, you will be responsible for the delivery of commercial and industrial rooftop solar projects, from initial concept through to commissioning.

Key responsibilities:

• Leading the delivery of commercial and industrial rooftop solar projects, including contract negotiation, budgeting, scheduling, and quality assurance

• Ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety regulations, environmental standards, and building codes

• Managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including contractors, suppliers, and regulatory authorities

• Collaborating with project teams to ensure successful project delivery, including coordinating with engineering, procurement, and commissioning teams

• Monitoring project progress and identifying and mitigating risks that may impact project timelines or budget

• Overseeing the commissioning and handover of completed projects

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A degree in engineering or a related field

• A minimum of 10 years' experience in project delivery, preferably in the renewable energy sector, with experience delivering commercial and industrial rooftop solar projects

• A strong understanding of project management best practices, including contract negotiation, budgeting, scheduling, and quality assurance

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels

• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to manage and motivate project teams

• A proven track record in delivering projects on time and to budget

• A passion for renewable energy and a desire to contribute to the transition to a low carbon economy
