Job description
The Green Recruitment Company have partnered with an exciting, cleantech innovator, striving to achieve net-zero through energy software & energy storage products – allowing SMEs to engage in the green energy transition, while also saving money!
Following PE-backing and rapid growth last year, our client is currently searching for an experiencedProject Leader, to play a vital role in the business’ continued success through overseeing the delivery of a range of projects by leading a full project lifecycle.
Location:London, Hybrid
Salary:£100,000 - £110,000
Responsibilities:
Project Development: Leadership to support the first execution of an Energy as a Service contract and then developing the procurement and project strategy to enable scale.
Strong financial management skills, including experience in forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting, to ensure the successful execution of projects within allocated resources and financial targets.
Manage a growing portfolio of over 40 projects from initiation to completion. Develop project plans, establish milestones, and monitor progress to ensure timely delivery.
Knowledge and understanding of EPC contracting organisations and how to best contracting strategies to maximise profitability while minimising risk.
Protecting the company’s bottom line while balancing repeat business through key customer accounts.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, suppliers, manufacturing, product and technology teams, to ensure alignment and successful project implementation.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
Experience in delivering a portfolio of £15M+ projects in multiple geographies, preferably in the energy storage or renewable energy industry.
Strong knowledge of programme management and cost control, scheduling and relevant tools/data.
Understanding of industry regulations and energy storage technologies.
Understanding of manufacturing supply chain, management of EPC contractors and logistics experience.
