Job description
TGRC are looking for a strategic, commercially-driven BESS leader to structure, grow, and champion a leading developer’s energy storage portfolio across multiple markets. This role combines business development, technical advisory, and strategic influence, positioning you at the centre of Europe’s energy storage growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and nurture a network of developers, utilities, investors, and technology providers.
Identify and structure new opportunities in energy storage markets, driving portfolio growth.
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and panels.
Influence clients’ energy strategies through strategic BESS advisory and market insight.
Support clients with BESS strategies, including technology selection, business models, and investment planning.
Lead high-level discussions on regulation, financing, and project structuring.
Conduct or oversee technical and commercial due diligence, financial modelling, and revenue stacking.
Provide expert insight into European electricity markets and energy storage economics.
Define and structure the company’s BESS offering in line with market demand.
Collaborate with internal technical teams to deliver consistent, high-quality advisory and project support.
Manage strategic partnerships and contribute to development of tools, methodologies, and analysis frameworks.
Track regulatory developments, emerging BESS markets, and technological innovation.
Identify innovative business models and financing structures for storage projects.
Requirements:
Master’s degree in Engineering, Energy, Business, or related field.
8+ years in renewable energy, with 3+ years specifically in BESS (commercial, technical, or strategic roles).
Proven experience in business development, client relationship management, and strategic advisory.
Strong understanding of energy storage technologies (standalone, hybrid, collocated) and economic drivers including revenue stacking.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
