Grid Management - Product Manager
Job description
The Role:
- Own the product, be responsible for the overall Grid Management product strategy
 - Be the expert and go-to-person on all matters regarding the product and the markets it serves
 - Be the voice of the customer inside the business
 - Responsible for product roadmaps/features and prioritizing enhancements to existing products based on customer/market/competitor/technology inputs
 - Responsible for gathering, understanding and articulating market requirements for software development teams
 - Support sales efforts by attending customer meetings and present product details (once opportunity is in more advanced stages, after initial conversations led by sales)
 - Be the commercial lead for the product, working closely with the sales team, including responsibility for product pricing, go-to-market strategy, tendering and contract negotiations
 - Lead scope definition of new opportunities in close cooperation with technology and Agile Account Manager
 - Responsible for market intelligence related to the product, including competition analysis, customer analysis, market sizing, programme/country specifications and market opportunity analysis
 - Own product marketing including collaterals (presentations, flyers, exhibitions, events etc) working closely with Head of Marketing
 - Present product and KiWi at events, exhibitions, customer meetings
 - Support other product managers and understand all other products in the suite well enough to take on a specific opportunity if required
 - Define hand-over of a signed opportunity to Agile Account Manager for software development and delivery phase and to Operations Manager for hardware installs and ongoing day-to-day operations
 - Maintain the Grid Management product technology development backlog
 - Responsibility for accepting Grid Management work packages (from Technology) as complete
 - Understand complexity in the problem domain, minimise complication in the solution
 - Use judgement in defining the appropriate level of product quality
 - Highly motivated and driven individual

 - Familiarity with agile software development processes
 - Excellent verbal and written communication skills – able to confidently present sophisticated / technical concepts to a wide variety of stakeholders
