Job description
TGRC has partnered with a London-based renewable energy company specializing in offsite private wire projects. Established in 2023, the company enables industrial clients across Europe to access 100% renewable energy directly, enhancing energy resilience and ensuring long-term price stability.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as an "on-the-road" land scout, primarily covering the North of England, with potential for wider expansion.
Proactively identify new land opportunities through self-generated leads, including door-knocking, cold outreach, and site visits.
Engage with targeted landowners identified by the Land Acquisition team, introducing our client, explaining project benefits, and assessing interest.
Build and maintain relationships with landowners, understanding their needs and constraints beyond initial contact.
Collect site-specific insights (e.g., accessibility, current land use, environmental factors) to support feasibility assessments.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Background in agriculture with strong ties to rural communities.
Self-motivated and proactive, capable of independently generating and advancing leads.
Strong communication and negotiation skills, with experience in relationship-building.
Interest in renewable energy and agricultural diversification—prior industry experience is not required. Training and introductions will take place at the London HQ.
Willingness to travel extensively and work flexibly across various locations (a company car will be provided).
Ambitious and growth-driven, eager to contribute to the company’s expansion, with substantial equity and commission-based incentives.
