An industry-leading Wind Energy OEM is seeking a Global Sourcing Manager to drive the optimization of its international supply chain strategy. This is a high-impact role for an accomplished procurement leader who thrives in complex, fast-moving environments and has a deep understanding of the wind energy sector.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Sourcing & Supply Chain Optimization

• Develop and implement global sourcing strategies to enhance supply chain resilience, cost efficiency, and supplier performance.

• Identify, evaluate, and onboard best-in-class suppliers across international markets to support the company’s growth objectives.

• Drive supplier negotiations to secure competitive pricing, quality, and delivery commitments in line with operational requirements.

Supplier Relationship & Risk Management

• Establish and nurture long-term partnerships with critical suppliers to ensure a stable and reliable supply of key components.

• Conduct risk assessments and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential disruptions in the supply chain.

• Monitor supplier performance through KPIs and continuous improvement initiatives.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and logistics teams to align sourcing strategies with production and project timelines.

• Engage with senior leadership to provide market intelligence, procurement insights, and cost analysis to support strategic decision-making.

• Lead or support initiatives related to sustainability and ESG compliance within the supply chain.

Key Requirements

• Proven experience in global supply chain management, strategic sourcing, or procurement within the wind energy sector.

• Strong expertise in supplier selection, contract negotiation, and cost management in an international setting.

• Deep understanding of supply chain dynamics, risk mitigation strategies, and quality control frameworks.

• Fluent in Mandarin and English to effectively manage relationships across global markets.

• Ability to navigate complex supplier networks and drive operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.
