Job description

​The Green Recruitment Company is partnered with a leading solar PV solutions provider who are looking to hire a Global Account Director - Renewables. This role will develop, grow and maintain the customer relationship with one of the business' largest shareholders, leading negotiations and globally enabling utility-scale strategic sales.

The Role:

  • Main point of contact for all customer interactions to successfully develop a thorough understanding of customers needs and requirements and preparing customized solutions

  • Develop and maintain a Key Account Plan with collaboration from other business units including ability to compile reports on account progress, goals, and forecasts for account teams, alongside tracking actions and their outcomes

  • Superb collaboration skills to create bridges of trust and help to involve the right people at the right time to produce the most favorable outcome

  • Ability to nurture and influence strategic relationships with top stakeholders, allowing the business to identify the best opportunities for growth while servicing major accounts in Europe.

  • Track, monitor and report on overall account performance against set targets

  • Identify customer pipeline opportunities, win strategies and competitor analysis

  • Excellent communication skills to comfortably address multiple stakeholders (from individual contributors to C-Suite executives) through different mediums

  • Demonstrate strategic leadership that goes beyond short-term gains. Ability to deliver on short-term results, while prioritizing long-term relationships and align with a mutually beneficial strategy.

  • Lead customer tender responses through collaboration with internal business units

  • Support the implementation of marketing campaigns, new product rollouts and other initiatives
