Role Overview: The Green Recruitment Company has teamed up with a top-tier power generation client to source a dynamic Functional Safety Engineer. If you have a keen expertise in functional safety and are enthusiastic about enhancing safety practices within the power generation sector, this position might be perfect for you.

Responsibilities:

• Implement, monitor, and refine functional safety systems in power generation facilities.

• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the effective integration of safety standards.

• Offer technical expertise on functional safety challenges, driving continuous improvement.

• Analyse and interpret safety data, formulating actionable insights.

• Organize and conduct functional safety assessments, reviews, and trainings.

• Ensure consistent compliance with UK and international functional safety regulations and standards.

• Lead and participate in safety-centric projects and campaigns.

Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering, with a special focus on Safety or a closely related discipline.

• Proven track record in functional safety engineering, preferably within the power generation domain.

• Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving capabilities.

• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.

• Profound understanding of UK functional safety standards and regulations.

• Self-driven with the ability to thrive in both autonomous and team settings.
