THE OPPORTUNITY:

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Financial Controller or Senior Finance Manager to join a turn-key solar PV business. The client currently have a portfolio across Europe but are now actively expanding into LatAm and US markets. In this role, you will be working actively with the head of Finance to integrate and review existing financial processes as projects are developed.

THE ROLE:

Monitoring budgets and preparing reports of actual figures against budget for monthly and quarterly reports
Prepare capital drawdowns, distributions and management fee calculations and billing statements
Supervise a team of management accountants and prepare reconciliations on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
Prepare relevant monthly and quarterly VAT returns
Oversee internal cost and cashflow forecasting and reporting
Manage the accounts payable process
Lead the quarterly audit process
Perform additional ad hoc tasks such as accruals, tax and compliance
Leading ad-hoc and value-added projects
Work closely with the fundraising and project finance team in identifying new opportunities for expansion

THE INDIVIDUAL:

Previous experience in a renewables environment is highly desirable
Must be ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified with 5-8 years' PQE
Bachelor's degree in accounting or other relevant discipline
Resourceful, adaptive and 'hands-on' mentality
Exellent Communication and Interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented and and results-driven
