A Field Service Engineer with field experience in construction, commissioning, operations, maintenance and Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC). Knowledgeable in system troubleshooting, diagnostics, and performing electrical tests (Isc, Voc, insulation resistance, IV Curve tracing, thermal imaging…). Ideally, with experience working in Utility, Commercial and Industrial projects

Immediate Initiatives
Perform third-party solar and storage system inspections including testing (IV tracing, thermal imaging, insulation resistance, continuity...) focused on safety, quality, and reliability. Typical scopes would be:
Health assessment: operational systems
Third-party construction QA/QC
Third-party commissioning oversight/verification
End-of-warranty inspection
Root cause analysis
Emergency response and investigation
Your Experience
2+ years of relevant solar and/or energy storage experience
Preferred solar field experience: construction management, QA/QC, commissioning, operations, and maintenance
1+ year of experience performing system troubleshooting, diagnostics, and performing electrical tests (Isc, Voc, insulation resistance, IV Curve tracing, thermal imaging…)
Ability to use fieldwork software technology tools and navigate numerous computer applications and technology independently
Highly valuable to have OSHA 30 and NFPA 70e certifications
Ability to work at great heights, work in extreme environments, lift at least 50 pounds
Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and an acceptable and safe driving record
Ability to travel 50% of the time or more nationally
Report writing, where required, to comply with deliverables
