Field Engineer
Job description
The Green Recruitment Company is looking for a Field - After-sales Engineer to provide technical support for field and remote service activities to work with clients and other stakeholders resolve issues related to Battery Storage Systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and perform all on-site technical tasks, including commissioning, preventive, scheduled, and corrective maintenance. 
- Focus on resolving post-sale issues efficiently, reducing system downtime, and ensuring fast recovery through strong customer communication and effective information sharing. 
- Monitor and assess product performance by working with the monitoring team to analyze operational data from BESS systems, coordinating closely with HQ and the EU technical team. 
- Identify and propose technical solutions by collaborating with the HQ team to ensure prompt resolution of system faults. 
- Take part in field activities such as system commissioning, troubleshooting, and regular maintenance. 
- Assist the help desk team with technical support calls and ticketing system management. 
- Work under the guidance of the HSE Manager to assess risks and approve operational procedures that align with HSE standards and regulations. 
- Finalize and manage the spare parts list, addressing obsolescence and ensuring compatibility of replacement parts in collaboration with the LATAM and HQ teams; maintain and control stock, consumption and supply chain planning. 
- Ensure local teams and service partners are equipped with the necessary tools and spare parts for uninterrupted operations. 
- Work closely with the Technical and Training teams to maintain high service quality standards during field operations. 
- Collaborate with local service teams, including managers, technicians, and service partners, to ensure smooth and effective technical support. 
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Hold an electrical Certification, Degree or equivalent in accordance with the national regulations and laws. 
- Hands-on experience with basic electrical tools (e.g., multimeter, torque wrench). 
- Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams; relevant technical education or work experience preferred. 
- At least 2 years of on-site experience with BESS systems, electrical installations, wiring, and system commissioning. 
- Proficient in English (spoken, written, listening, and reading), with the ability to write technical manuals in English. 
- Hold a driver's license and willingness to travel.
