​Reports to: Group ESG Manager

Our client a Renewables Investment Management Fund is looking to hire an ESG Analyst into their team based in Bristol (hybrid working).

The role supports the ESG Manager on the creation and implementation of ESG strategies for UK and European funds and the management of a charitable foundation.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and manage ESG reporting systems

• Lead and co-ordinate ESG data gathering activity and metrics internally with key stakeholders, recommending and implementing continuous improvements to the data collection and reporting processes to drive accuracy and efficiency

• Produce ESG disclosures in line with regulatory specifications and support the Group ESG Manager with annual and interim reporting for funds under advisory

• Carbon reporting and calculation of the funds’ Scope 1, 2 & 3 emissions

• Support the integration of ESG into portfolio related services, such as development, investment, asset management and O&M activities

• Support the ESG Manager in educating, informing and engaging employees on ESG and its importance

• Report and update stakeholders on project progress, milestones and produce highlight reports as required

Key Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject or equivalent qualification by experience

• Understanding of ESG & its strategic importance within investment activity

• Familiarity with ESG initiatives and frameworks including PRI, Sustainable Development Goals, SFDR, EU Taxonomy, TCFD etc.

• A good understanding of ESG measurement and reporting

• Excellent communication & people skills

• An analytical mindset with high attention to detail

• Strong project management skills and ability to respond to tight deadlines

• Highly organised and self-motivated
