Job Title: Environmental Surveyor - Offshore Wind Developer
Location: Copenhagen, Denmark
Job Type: Contract, 12 Months
Salary: Day rate of €500-€600
Our client, a leading offshore wind developer, is seeking an experienced Environmental Surveyor to support their project in Copenhagen, Denmark. The ideal candidate will have experience working on offshore wind projects and conducting environmental surveys. This role is a contract position and will last for 12 months.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct environmental surveys, including marine mammal and bird surveys, benthic surveys, and habitat mapping.
Analyze survey data and produce reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and project requirements.
Work collaboratively with other project teams, including engineers, construction managers, and regulators.
Participate in environmental impact assessments and provide recommendations to mitigate potential impacts.
Requirements:
Experience conducting environmental surveys, particularly in the offshore wind industry.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret and communicate complex data.
Knowledge of environmental regulations and requirements for offshore wind projects.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
A relevant degree in environmental science or a related field is preferred.
Fluency in English is essential, and knowledge of Danish is advantageous.
