The Role:

The Green Recruitment Company is working with an international renewable energy company focused on leading the global transition to clean energy across Europe. My client specializes in renewable investments and development in Europe, from early-stage development and co-development to acquiring ready-to-build projects and constructing the projects themselves. Currently, in Germany they have already acquired 83MW projects..

Responsibilities:

• Lead engineering for solar PV, wind, and BESS within the Engineering Function, responding to business needs for assets in different stages.

• Achieve quality, cost, schedule, risk, and technical performance targets for Product Line.

• Act as technical lead for key equipment supply. Defining minimum requirements and specifications in tender packages, reviewing agreements and technical annexes, and participating in negotiations.

• Direct management and technical guidance of engineering, technical approaches, and processes.

• Establish and maintain processes to develop early-stage engineering designs.

• Review project designs, suitability for site specifics and make recommendations for optimisation for safe and reliable expected operational life.

• Carry out engineering and technical due diligence on potential acquisition projects, mitigating risks and adding value.

• Ensure that the team's requirements and specifications meet industry standards.

• Develop and maintain relationships with collaborators and partners.

• Work closely with Chief Engineer.
  

Your Profile:

• Degree qualification in relevant engineering discipline.

• Demonstrable experience and expertise in renewable energy technologies gained from working on development, engineering and / or operation of utility scale renewable assets.

• Solar PV experience preference, but not required.
