Job description

​Our client is a global pioneering energy storage solutions innovator. They has established a comprehensive product portfolio for full scenarios, including C&I and residential energy storage throughout the entire lifecycle.

About the Role

This position drives energy storage sales in Spain, focusing on C&I and utility-scale projects by building local partnerships and navigating market regulations. Ideal forseasoned renewable energy sales professionals with deep knowledge of the Southern European Market and a network in solar/storage.

Responsibilities
  • Lead business development for commercial & industrial (C&I) and utility-scale energy storage projects in Southern European, targeting EPCs, energy investors, developers, and end-users.

  • Identify and establish long-term strategic partnerships with local distributors, installers, and key industry players.

  • Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation and technical proposals to contract negotiation and deal closure.

  • Work closely with engineering and operations teams to ensure feasible, bankable solutions tailored to the Spanish market.

  • Monitor energy regulations, grid policies, and subsidy schemes (e.g., energy storage incentives, renewable auctions) to align sales strategies.

  • Represent the company at industry events, trade fairs, and conferences (e.g., GENERA, Solarplaza) to strengthen brand presence.

  • Coordinate with HQ and regional teams to ensure smooth project execution, financing, and after-sales support.

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience in renewable energy (solar/storage), with at least 2 years focused on energy storage (C&I or utility-scale).

  • Proven track record in the Southern European Market.

  • Technical background in electrical engineering, energy systems, or related fields.

  • Familiarity with local grid connection processes and permitting.

  • Fluent in Spanish, English and Chinese (professional working proficiency).
