​Job title: Energy Sales and Marketing Manager

Location: Shanghai, China (On-site)

TGRC is looking for an experienced Energy Sales and Marketing Manager to enhance our team. This role is central to mastering the intricacies of China's electricity market, with a focus on power trading policies, electricity transaction regulations, and market forecasting.

The Energy Sales and Marketing Manager will have a solid grasp of green certificates, green electricity, and the carbon emission markets, playing a crucial role in guiding business development and investment models through precise electricity price forecasting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze electricity trading policies across China's provinces to inform investment models for business development, ensuring accurate electricity price forecasts.

  • Collaborate with consulting agencies, government departments, and industry associations to gauge and predict actual electricity prices in key business provinces.

  • Manage registrations for domestic (GEC) and international (I-REC, APX) green certificates and carbon emission rights, driving the development of a compliant energy portfolio.

  • Secure and finalize agreements with end customers for green certificates and green electricity, aligning with market demands and sustainability objectives.

  • Stay informed on developments in China's electricity trading, green electricity, green certificates, and carbon emission trading policies to support strategic planning and market engagement.

Qualifications:

  • Deep understanding of China's electricity market policies, trading regulations, and forecasting methods.

  • Knowledgeable about green certificates, green electricity, and carbon emission markets in China.

  • Experienced in liaising with consulting firms, government bodies, and industry groups for market insights.

  • Skilled in registering and managing green certificates and carbon emission rights, both locally and internationally.

  • Excellent skills in negotiation, contract management, and establishing enduring customer relationships.

  • Strong analytical abilities, strategic thinking, and effective communication skills.
