Want to work for an independent and global consultancy, providing businesses leading-edge energy management and sustainability solutions to achieve their cost and sustainability objectives? Our client is looking for an Energy Consultant to offer a full service to support to their high profile, Industrial & Commercial senior clients

The Role:

  • Client liaison, feeding back solutions to meet their energy and sustainability management needs
  • Attending regular business meetings, focus on upselling services to client base, client retention
  • Ensuring smooth, efficient and on-time service delivery
  • Handling and processing contract renewals
  • Presenting additional value-added opportunities to clients
  • Ensuring client records are accurately maintained
  • Making sure clients pay consultancy invoices as per T&C’s
  • Reviewing energy and sustainability strategies for the coming year
  • Informing clients about their options regarding energy usage and sustainability
  • Helping clients develop systems to improve their energy efficiency
  • Experience of risk managed flexible procurement, non-commodity charges, bureau services
  • Developing and implementing energy procurement – maintaining consistent contact, identifying existing (and developing) requirements and delivering solutions
  • Managing international service projects and co-ordination of service delivery with International Project Managers

The Individual:

  • Proven track record in the energy sector in a client facing role, be eager to learn and be passionate about providing great client service
  • A commercial/business orientated mind-set is ideal
  • Friendly, logical and accommodating
  • Enthusiastic and persuasive
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and customer skills
  • Enjoys working with data to identify where patterns emerge
  • Ability to accurately analyse sustainability and efficiency ROI business cases
  • Highly numerate
  • The successful candidate will be expected to undertake reasonable travel throughout the UK & Ireland to visit clients, therefore a valid driving license is essential.
