Job description
The Role:
The Energy Analyst provides comprehensive support to Clients, Procurement Managers, Risk & Trading, Sales, Accounts Team and the wider international business. Support and advice will cover energy procurement services, budgets, non-energy charges, risk management, all additional renewable energy products by supplying product information, market analysis, pricing evaluation, and contract management. They are experts on all deregulated energy markets, independently providing these services for clients throughout Europe and beyond.
The Individual:
Minimum 3 years Utility experience
Experience in a client facing role working directly with customers/suppliers
Project management skills – ability to manage competing client/supplier demands, liaise with energy suppliers and adhere to internal quality standards often to tight deadlines
Able to speak additional one or two European languages (French, German, Spanish, Dutch etc)
A good team player able to work as a part of a team or on their own
A self-starter, who likes to get the job done properly first time
An ability to identify problems and resolve them swiftly
3 years of relevant experience, particularly in the areas of energy procurement, utilities, finance, risk management, or quantitative analysis
