​Title: Director of Project Finance/Business Development

The Green Recruitment Company is working with a fast-growing renewable energy platform, backed by one of the largest investors in the energy transition space, to support their Business Development team at the Associate or Senior Associate level. The company is led by industry veterans who have assembled a best-in-class team at a pivotal moment in the company’s transition from a development platform to an IPP.

Experience

• 5+ years in renewables, with significant valuation, diligence, documentation, and transaction experience

• Experienced in project finance, investments, M&A or another applicable area/skillset.

• Tax equity experience preferred.

• Previous experience at a developer/IPP in the energy space preferred.
  

Role

• Transaction lead for project and portfolio acquisitions, meaning primary responsibility for underwriting and documentation with support from junior team members and functional groups

• Commercial lead on controlled assets, meaning key part of lean cross-functional team responsible for buildout of company's late-stage projects, involved in all major procurement, offtake, and financing agreements and major project decisions

• Train and mentor junior team members

• Build and maintain relationships with project developers, bankers, and brokers
