We have a new role for a Director of Project Finance to work within the renewables market in New York City.

As the Director of Project Finance based in New York City, you will be a key member of our finance team, responsible for structuring and securing financing for our renewable energy projects. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of project finance, financial modeling, and a proven track record of successful deal execution.

Company Overview

The Green Recruitment Company is working with a developer of community solar projects, having already developed 2,000 megawatts of community solar across more than 400 projects. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Strategizing and executing the strategy to raise debt & tax equity to support the company's operating portfolio.

• Structuring, negotiating, and closing project financing, execution of due diligence processes.

• In addition, I lead finance transactions, negotiations, due diligence, and modeling.

• Furthermore, identify, assess, and manage financial risks associated with project development and financing.

• Additionally, implement strategies to mitigate risks and enhance the financial performance of projects.

• Stay informed about market trends, financing mechanisms, and regulatory changes impacting the renewables sector.

• Moreover, provides insights and recommendations to senior management based on market analysis.

• Develop and maintain successful relationships with financing parties, including tax equity investors, lenders, project investors and others.

• Lastly, Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, legal, and operations, to ensure alignment between project finance and overall business objectives.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 7+ years’ experience in renewable energy, infrastructure project finance or investment banking.

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or related; Masters preferred.

• Proven track record of leading successful transactions and closings.

• Lastly, comfortable working in a fast-moving dynamic, environment
