​A leading EPC specializing in utility-scale solar is seeking a Director of Engineering to lead technical strategy, oversee engineering teams, and optimize project execution.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Lead solar engineering, system performance modeling, and CAD design activities for construction projects.

• Provide technical expertise for development and RFP support projects.

• Evaluate new solar opportunities and support due diligence processes.

• Collaborate with legal teams on contract negotiations with suppliers and customers.

• Guide field teams on plant commissioning, testing, and performance optimization.

• Improve project planning tools and resource allocation within the engineering group.

• Mentor and develop engineering talent, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering or related field.

• 10+ years in the solar or renewable energy industry.

• Proven leadership experience in managing engineering teams.

• Expertise in PV system design, performance analysis, and industry standards.

• Advanced proficiency in PVSyst, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Excel.

• Strong communication skills with internal teams and external stakeholders.

• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (5-15%).
