Job description
TGRC are working with a renowned distributed energy company focused on unlocking the potential of decentralized, sustainable energy to support the UK's clean energy transition. Through funding and developing low carbon heat and power solutions, they are essential in supporting UK businesses and organisations in their mission to provide cleaner energy solutions. As part of their impressive growth, they are now looking for a Credit Controller to work from their Hooton office, supporting on the maintenance of Credit policy and ensure debtors are kept to a minimum.
The role:
Ensure that debts are paid in a timely manner for each debtor book
Meet cash & debtor targets
Forge good working relationships with internal stakeholders
Set and agree credit limits and payment terms for new and existing accounts using online credit checking facility
Chase overdue invoices by telephone, email & letter within agreed timescales, agreeing payment terms in consultation with line manager
Maintain accurate records of all chasing activity and update systems
Undertake account reconciliations as required and information for audit where necessary.
Person Specification:
Ability to build working relationships with internal stakeholders and work as a team
Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills with the confidence to challenge people when disputes arise
To be able to work under own initiative to achieve all goals and targets.
Skills and Experience:
Ideally 2 years in a similar role
Previous Credit Control experience
Excellent numerical skills
