The Green Recruitment Company are delighted to have partnered with a Renewable Energy Advisory firm that seeks a Corporate Finance Analyst to join their team and help in driving the energy transition.
As a Corporate Finance Analyst with a leading Renewable Energy Advisory firm based in Paris, you will play a vital role in supporting financial analysis, deal execution, and strategic decision-making for clients in the renewable energy sector. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and rapidly evolving industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting the development and execution of corporate finance transactions
Assist in the preparation of transaction documents, investment memoranda, and client presentations, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Conducting financial analysis of companies and projects, including market research, financial modelling, and valuation
Evaluate and mitigate financial and operational risks associated with renewable energy projects, providing recommendations to clients.
Engage with clients to understand their financial needs, provide advisory services, and contribute to the development of tailored financial solutions.
Preparing and delivering presentations and reports to clients and stakeholders
Collaborate with senior team members in the execution of renewable energy transactions, including due diligence, deal structuring, and negotiation.
Stay informed about market trends, regulatory changes, and industry developments in the renewable energy sector.
Lastly, provide insights and analysis to clients and internal teams.
Skills needed:
1–3 years of corporate finance experience within a bank, corporate finance boutique, or in-house renewable energy M&A team
Strong financial modelling skills and proficiency in Excel. Knowledge of financial software tools is an advantage.
Understanding of project finance principles and structures, particularly in the context of renewable energy projects.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Lastly, native-level French spoken and written skills are mandatory
