Are you an experienced Contract & Procurement Manager seeking an exciting opportunity with a leading offshore wind developer? We are a reputable recruitment agency partnering with a prominent offshore wind developer based in Taipei City, and we are currently looking for a skilled professional to join their team as a Contract & Procurement Manager on an 18-month contract basis.

Position: Contract & Procurement ManagerContract Duration: 18 monthsLocation: Taipei City
Role Overview: As the Contract & Procurement Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful implementation and execution of procurement strategies for offshore wind projects. You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement process, including contract negotiations, supplier evaluation, and vendor management. Your expertise will help drive efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and compliance within the procurement function.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project requirements and business objectives.
Oversee the end-to-end procurement process, including supplier identification, evaluation, negotiation, and contract management.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
Conduct market research and supplier analysis to identify potential vendors and foster strategic partnerships.
Manage vendor relationships and performance, ensuring adherence to contractual agreements and service level agreements.
Monitor procurement activities to ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures.
Evaluate supplier performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize procurement processes.
Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on procurement-related matters.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
Proven experience in contract management and procurement within the energy industry, preferably in offshore wind projects.
Strong knowledge of procurement principles, contract negotiation, and vendor management.
Familiarity with local regulations and industry standards related to procurement.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
Proficiency in English is required. Mandarin proficiency is a plus.
