Construction Project Manager PV
Location: UK & Ireland
TGRC is working with a leading Solar Developer who are looking for a Construction Project Manager to join their new Solar Construction Team in the UK.
They are looking for talented project managers to drive projects forward from Final Investment Decision (FID) to Commercial Operation Delivery (COD) safely, on time, to quality and budget, incl. successful Hand Over to Operations.
Supervision and management of the chosen EPC and ICP through the delivery phase.
Budgetary and Scheduling responsibility for each assigned project
Liaise with local authorities, utilities, suppliers, contractors, and any other parties relevant to
delivery of the assigned project
Tendering for long lead items and payment/delivery terms negotiation
Tendering and negotiation of EPC and ICP scopes and contracts
Periodical reporting to the management team on the delivery progress and risks
Liaise with the project team to ensure the proper and timely discharge of any planning conditions relevant to the grid works.
A degree in a Civil, Mechanical or Electrical engineering principle desirable
Demonstrable experience in delivering utility scale solar projects.
A previous job role working within an EPC will be advantageous.
Industry recognised Project Management qualifications - PRINCE 2/ APMP Professional
Health and safety - SMSTS / NEBOSH / IOSH accreditation
Demonstrable experience in negotiating and working under commercial contract frameworks such as NEC3/4, FIDIC, etc.
Advanced knowledge of the MS Office Suite, Autodesk Viewer and Visio (or other similar PM software)
Full valid UK driving license.
