Lead Large-Scale Energy Construction Projects

A prestigious opportunity has arisen for an experienced Construction Director to join a leading international electric power generation company in Shanghai. This role is ideal for a seasoned EPC professional with a strong track record in managing complex energy infrastructure projects across China.

About the Role

As a Construction Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of energy infrastructure projects, ensuring successful execution from pre-construction planning through to final commissioning. Your expertise in Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) will be critical in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage large-scale EPC power generation projects from conception to completion.

• Oversee contract negotiations, risk management, and project execution strategies.

• Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements, safety protocols, and quality standards.

• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to optimize project efficiency.

• Build and maintain relationships with government agencies, key stakeholders, and contractors.

• Drive innovation and best practices in construction methodologies to improve performance and cost efficiency.

Key Requirements

To excel in this role, you will need:

• Extensive EPC experience in China, with a strong understanding of local regulations and industry practices.

• Proven leadership in managing large-scale energy construction projects.

• Strong knowledge of power plant construction, grid connections, and infrastructure development.

• Excellent stakeholder management and contract negotiation skills.

• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while ensuring safe and efficient project delivery.

• Fluent English language skills (business level) are essential.
