Job description

​TGRC has partnered with a start-up renewable energy business, and they are looking for a Commercial Finance Professional to come and support the CFO. 

This opportunity is based in our Oxford office, collaborating with a vibrant team of 40 professionals from the wider group/sister companies. Additionally, this role would ideally suit someone 0.5-4 years of PQE with a keen interest in Renewables.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Holistic Financial Oversight: Engage in a broad role encompassing core financial reporting.

  • Strategic Analysis: Review month and year-end management accounts to provide valuable insights.

  • Project Collaboration: Support the preparation of project proposals and Board Papers.

  • Financial Planning: Take charge of the preparation of budgets, re-forecasts, and manage modelling on projects.

  • Fundraising Support: Contribute to fundraising activities to drive the growth of our renewables initiatives.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Attend regular meetings with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Accountant: Hold relevant professional qualifications with 0.5-4 years of PQE.

  • Renewable Energy Enthusiast: Demonstrate a strong interest or experience in the energy and renewables sector.

  • Financial Acumen: Possess a solid understanding of financial modelling to contribute effectively to project success.
