​Job Title: Commercial Associate - Polish Market

Location: Berlin, Germany (Hybrid)

The Commercial Associate - Polish Market involves cultivating sales opportunities for our comprehensive suite of global products, with a particular emphasis on customers in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

The Role:

• Assume a pivotal role in all facets of client interactions and business development

• Identify and present our services to prospective clients

• Assess, cultivate, and manage sales opportunities throughout the sales pipeline, from initial contact to contract negotiation

• Offer account management to ensure exceptional customer experience and heightened engagement for clients in DACH and Central Europe

• Contribute to the enhancement of existing offerings and the development of new products

• Furthermore, create new marketing materials as required

• When applicable and based on interest/ability, support the research and publications team in shaping our long-term market outlook and analysis

• Lastly, utilize Salesforce CRM to ensure adherence to standard processes across all sales stages

The Individual:

• Prior experience in sales, business development, and client relationship management, especially in energy-related subscription sales

• Additionally, exceptional organizational skills, coupled with a high degree of persistence and diligence

• Evidence of strong performance in team-oriented environments

• Furthermore, genuine curiosity about energy and sustainability

• Native or professional-level proficiency in German and English

• In addition, familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM systems

• Past professional exposure to energy economics, power and renewables markets, and flexible energy/battery energy storage projects would be advantageous

• Lastly, strong analytical and quantitative skills and a background in economics/policy would be an asset
