Job description

As part of the Executions and Solutions team you will be directly involved in liaising with internal account managers, business clients, third party intermediaries and industry bodies regarding energy supply, contracts and supporting services. There will be a focus on critically assessing data and contracts, commercial management, providing knowledge and expertise to internal sales teams, ensuring key client accounts are closely managed and sustainably growing the business.

 

The Role:

  • Managing and facilitating large deals alongside account managers
  • Input, review and update non-commodity price elements
  • Evaluating and forecasting consumption data
  • Setting up new connection data; industry and consumption
  • Assessing commercial risk on a portfolio and deal specific level
  • Creating and publishing market reports & industry insights
  • Creating, developing and managing new products and channels
  • Assisting in the training and development of internal staff

 

The Individual:

  • Have strong technical background with excellent analytical skills and special attention to the detail
  • Have experience of the Electricity and/or Gas Industry, specifically knowledge of non-commodity pricing elements.
  • Be able to work independently or as part of a team
  • Be comfortable working in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment and able to quickly respond to changing business needs and demands
  • Be able to prioritise and manage your own workload with minimal supervision
  • Have experience using a CRM system alongside multiple web-based platform
  • Be educated at degree level in a numerical related subject (STEM degree desirable)
