Job title: Commercial Account Manager

Location: London Area, United Kingdom (Hybrid)

TGRC is currently looking for an experienced Commercial Account Manager to join a cleantech innovator in London, UK on a Hybrid working model.

The business has a well-established, scale-up brand within the UK Cleantech Market, with an abundance of partnership opportunities ready to convert, with the application of a new Commercial professional to join the ranks.

Seeking an experienced “deal closer” to convert early to advanced stage discussions, originated by the SLT, into B2B technology sales opportunities & partnerships.

Responsibilities:

  • Acting as bid & sales specialist within business sales processes – collaborating with appropriate internal stakeholders to best secure desired deals with a target customer base.

  • Actively progress specific near-term qualified sales opportunities in the business’s existing pipeline with target customers.

  • Understanding the needs and requirements of prospective and existing customers from a commercial point of view (specifically pricing, deal structure and contracting).

  • Working with the Product department to assist their resource and efforts to align with the needs of our target customer base and provide feedback and input – in addition to enabling them to meet with our target customers as frequently as possible.

  • Working with our experienced in-house Legal specialist to contract with our successful customer opportunities in a manner that enables future growth/up-sell opportunities.

  • Work closely with the marketing department to increase awareness of the company’s brand, the product offering, and to communicate our value to our target customers.

Requirements:

  • Versatile, forward-thinking, solution-driven commercial professional.

  • Experienced in closing deals – particularly in that of solution selling

  • Commercial contracting and/or pricing experience

  • Preferably experience in B2B SaaS technology sales for emerging software products (desirable).

  • Degree qualification, ideally in STEM discipline.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues from other departments

  • A team player with great social and interpersonal skills, and a ‘can-do’ attitude

  • Ability to learn quickly and be comfortable with change and ambiguity to adapt to changing and uncertain environments
