Annual Salary: USD $90,000 - $110,000

About the NGO: Our NGO is a leading advocate for green energy, focused on spearheading renewable energy initiatives and driving sustainable practices worldwide. We are committed to combating climate change, fostering eco-friendly solutions, and empowering communities to embrace a greener future.

Responsibilities: As Co-Director, you will play a pivotal role in the strategic management and direction of the organization, working in tandem with the existing leadership team. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with the Executive team to develop and execute the NGO's strategic vision, setting short and long-term goals aligned with our mission and values.

  2. Project Management: Oversee and coordinate various green energy projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the highest quality standards.

  3. Stakeholder Engagement: Foster and maintain strong relationships with partners, stakeholders, and donors to drive collaborative efforts in the pursuit of sustainable energy solutions.

  4. Advocacy and Campaigning: Lead advocacy and awareness campaigns to influence policies and promote renewable energy adoption at local, national, and international levels.

  5. Team Development: Nurture and mentor a dedicated team of professionals, encouraging a positive and productive work environment.

  6. Fundraising and Budgeting: Identify funding opportunities, prepare grant proposals, and manage financial resources effectively.

  7. Reporting and Evaluation: Monitor the NGO's performance and impact, producing periodic reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated expertise and passion for green energy, sustainability, and environmental advocacy.

  • Proven experience in a leadership role within the nonprofit, environmental, or renewable energy sector.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to engage with diverse stakeholders.

  • Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.

  • Residency and remote working capabilities within China.

  • Advanced degree in a relevant field (e.g., Environmental Sciences, Renewable Energy, Business Administration) is preferred.
