​Role: Capital Markets Associate

The Opportunity:

The Green Recruitment Company is partnering with a growing renewable energy development company, as it looks to build out its finance team. The company focuses on developing, owning, and operating utility-scale sustainable infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of renewable energy markets, solar energy technologies, and project finance principles to create value for the company and more effectively serve the company's needs. A strong background in Financial Modeling and Capital Markets in renewable energy is essential for this position.

Responsibilities:

• Developing & analyzing project models to make recommendations on transaction structure and terms.

• Developing and updating development progress visuals, including PowerPoint decks.

• Coordinating project due diligence in support of project finance transactions.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including project development, engineering, and finance to evaluate and structure solar project finance deals.

• Assisting in closing transactions, including partnering with external consultants, advisors, and legal counsel.

• Supporting transaction execution in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines.

Requirements:

• 3 years professional experience, with at least 1 year of which is in the renewable energy industry.

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

• Strong understanding of renewable energy markets, solar energy technologies, and project finance principles

• Proficiency and proven experience with Microsoft Office, including advanced proficiency in PowerPoint & Excel (including proven experience with Excel-based project models) in a business setting.

• Ability to travel up to 25%
