​Business Financial Associate, Energy Storage | Financial Modeling | Capital Raising | Structuring

THE OPPORTUNITY:

Brilliant opportunity to join the finance department of leading developer in the renewables industry.

The company develops and operates utility-scale energy storage projects in the U.S. They have over 3 GW of renewable capacity in development and projects across the U.S. They also have over $2B in committed capital for the next few years.

The Business Financial Associate will structure and execute transactions from end-to-end to support the long-term operation of the portfolio. They will work closely with the company CFO.

THE ROLE:

The main responsibilities in the role will include (but not be limited to):

• Create and maintain complex energy project financial models.

• Assist in capital raising and structuring for company and project companies.

• Support in the development of long-term operational and financial plans.

• Conduct financial analysis to help guide the team in evaluating and making critical business decisions.

• Assist CFO in all financial duties as needed.

• All other duties as needed.

THE INDIVIDUAL:

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.

• Top-notch financial modelling skills.

• Experience in financial analysis a plus.

• Knowledge of grid-scale batteries, clean energy and markets a plus.

• Should be eager to learn and motivated by creating a more resilient and cleaner grid.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with ability to prioritize multiple, high-stakes projects.

• Ability and willingness to travel and work over 40 hours in a week as needed.
