The Green Recruitment Company are delighted to be partnered with a leading clean energy trader, boosting the value of producers' bioenergy production in wholesale markets. The client handles the nomination, transportation, and trading of green gas, providing long-term bioenergy sourcing agreements & short-term solutions.

As such, they are currently seeking a Bioenergy Origination Manager interested in joining an experienced and ambitious deal-making team who possesses a deep understanding of energy markets. The ideal candidate will manage & expand the client’s relationships with bioenergy stakeholders within the Dutch market, as well as originating profitable Financial & Physical bioenergy contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work alongside the Business Development department in investigating, analysing, and pursuing commercial opportunities linked to Bioenergy sourcing across other European markets.

• Develop a profitable portfolio with stakeholders - Bioenergy plant owners/operators, large counterparties, investment funds, & larger buyers.

• Negotiate short & long-term contracts within the target customer segment, as well as framework agreements.

• Establish a physical Bioenergy network in the Dutch market.

Your Profile:

• Possess a profound network and extensive knowledge within the Dutch and/or European Bioenergy market.

• Experience in developing and closing financial & physical commodity transactions.

• Key origination, negotiation, and deal structuring skills, being able to manage deal processes & internal stakeholders.

• Fluent in English & the Dutch language
