​Battery Storage Developer

Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid)

TGRC is working with a leading energy storage IPP that develops, owns and operates standalone storage projects in the U.S.. Launched in 2018, the platform's portfolio of operating, construction and development assets now exceeds 4 GW. The company is jointly owned and backed by its parent company and an infrastructure investment company with over $14 billion in assets under management. As the Battery Storage Developer, you would manage all aspects of development for select battery storage projects in the company’s development portfolio, from site acquisition through to Notice to Proceed for construction.

Responsibilities:

• Use software tools and coordinate with the quantitative team to research and locate greenfield/acquisition opportunities

• Negotiate site control agreements with landowners

• Coordinate with team members and manage external contractors to permit projects and perform other development tasks

• Lead responses to energy storage RFPs and bi-laterally originate and manage potential offtake opportunities
