Job description
We are searching for a highly motivated individual who is hyper-organized, proactive, and consistently operates with a sense of urgency and excitement to grow in an assistant PM role with our Solar Construction group.
This position is responsible for managing and balancing the administrative tasks associated with a pipeline of solar construction projects from inception through closeout. This is a hybrid role with the opportunity to work from home when not on a solar site.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage:
Contract Administration - compile and review project agreements and EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) contracts, drive the process through final execution
Develop: we are an agile, but growing team. You’ll play a key role in developing and improving efficient processes so we can maintain our agility.
Organize: our teams in the field are constantly on the move, and your ability to organize our administrative workload and communicate effectively is key to our success!
Manage the process of onboarding new contractors/vendors and validate insurance compliance
Process and issue service-related purchase orders based on proposals received from Business Development, Channel Development, Engineering, and Construction Teams
Track and follow up on outstanding items which may include change orders, missing contract items, updated schedules, etc.
Support project managers, assistant project managers, contractors, designers, and the leadership team to manage expectations and adjust priorities
Support the CED Team with the operation and process improvement initiatives in Procore Project Management platform
Support the CED Team with multiple reporting initiatives File and store data so that it can be retrieved quickly and efficiently when the stakeholders need it
Coordinate meetings and take accurate minutes
Organize events for the team and coordinate travel arrangements
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience or working knowledge of the construction industry
1+ years equivalent administration experience
A strong background in office organization
Proven track record in project administration
Exceptional communication and customer service skills
Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or equivalent experience
A genuine interest in the world of Renewable Energy construction.
Must have basic computer skills, specifically with email, Microsoft Word & Excel
Experience or working knowledge of the following platforms is beneficial but not required - NetSuite, Procore, Salesforce, SharePoint, Microsoft Project
