Wind Turbine Quality Engineer
The Client
My client is a leading international developer of Renewable Energy projects. The Group produces wind power (onshore and offshore), solar, hydropower, batteries and hydrogen. They are a global company in energy market operations. My client are operational across nearly 20 countries.
The Role
As a result of growth in the field of wind energy projects, my client are looking to strenghthen its Quality Assurance competence. They are seeking a Wind Turbine Quality Engineer with extensive experience in both the: QC of manufacturing and the installation and/or commissioning of wind projects.
Ensuring the correct quality of the wind turbines is of vital importance for the projects and for the following operational phase. The Turbine QC Engineer will join the Wind Turbine Technology and Quality team. The role will report to the Head of Technology and Quality. The team will work on current and future wind energy projects.
Your role:
Ensure all aspects of quality of the wind turbines from the manufacturing through to the construction of the project by the owner at each site.
Perform systematic quality assurance work as defined by the project plans, processes, contracts and other relevant requirements.
Contribute to maintenance of highest possible safety standards and performance, project progress and quality through active participation across a wide range of project tasks.
Your profile:
Engineering degree
3+ years of experience within the field of quality assurance of wind turbines and its main components.
Experience in QC of large scale wind energy projects
Wind Turbine specific courses
Excellent skills in English
