Summary:

An international renewable energy developer, specialising in Onshore Wind, are seeking a Wind Development Manager to join their established development team in Melbourne. As Wind Development Manager, you will be responsible for a range of development activities from project initiation through to the construction of onshore wind energy projects. Your responsibilities will cover all aspects of development including identifying new development opportunities, securing land leases, stakeholder management and community engagement.

 

Your responsibilities:

  • Identifying and developing renewable energy projects
  • Developing, maintaining and promoting business cases for development projects
  • Project managing all development activities
  • Delivering assigned tasks on time, budget and to agreed quality
  • Negotiating and securing property agreements with landowners
  • Securing all third-party approvals
  • Managing the grid connection process
  • Maintaining communication with ll external stakeholders
  • Preparing and presenting progress reports to senior management
  • Managing community and stakeholder consultation on projects
  • Coordinating technical elements of the due diligence process

 

Skills, qualifications and experience required from you:

  • Australian onshore wind development experience
  • Understanding of the wider wind development process
  • Knowledge of the renewable industry, policy and regulations
  • Relevant degree in relevant subject
  • Eligibility to live and work in Australia
  • Flexibility to travel across Australia
