Job title: VP/Principal - Private Equity

Location: San Francisco, California, United States (On-site)

TGRC is partnered with a private equity firm to support their search for a dynamic and experienced Vice President or Principal to join the team. The Vice President/Principal will play a crucial role in leading the identification, evaluation, and execution of investment opportunities in the renewable energy space, as well as providing strategic guidance to support the growth and success of the existing portfolio.

Responsibilities:

  • Investment Strategy: Lead the evaluation of potential investment opportunities and provide recommendations to senior management.

  • Due Diligence: Conduct comprehensive due diligence on potential investments, including financial analysis, market research, and risk assessment.

  • Deal Structuring and Execution: Lead negotiations and deal structuring processes for potential investments.

  • Portfolio Management: Provide strategic guidance and support to portfolio companies, including monitoring performance, identifying growth opportunities, and addressing operational challenges.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 6-10 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, or corporate development – preference for prior renewables experience.

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field.

  • Demonstrated track record of sourcing, evaluating, and executing successful investments in the renewable energy sector.

  • Excellent analytical, financial modeling, and valuation skills.

  • Proven leadership abilities, with experience managing and mentoring junior team members.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior executives, investors, and industry partners.
