​Purpose of the Legal Counsel:

The primary role is the oversight of all group legal and compliance activities for their European activities, which are currently primarily based in Italy. The role will also support other the Group's wider activity.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in the coordination and monitoring of external counsel.

• Supporting on all European M&A, construction and development activity.

• Assisting in corporate governance for all Italian entities and for the funds and entities that they advise and manage.

• Supporting the Group in maintaining and enhancing high standards of corporate governance through its boards and committees procedures and record keeping.

• Assisting in maintaining awareness of key legal and compliance developments relevant to the firm.

• Any other reasonable task as requested by a Manager, Partner or Director of the business.

Requirements:

• Qualified as a solicitor in Italy.

• Strong academic track record.

• Previous experience in an in-house role and/or in private practice.

• Excellent communication & people skills.

• Highly organised and self-motivated.
