Job description
We're currently supporting our client in hiring for a VP, focusing on providing innovative financing solutions within the renewable energy sector.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of experience, a preference towards debt advisory and a proven track record in structuring and executing financing transactions for renewable energy projects.
Your role:
Lead debt advisory services for renewable energy projects, including solar, wind, and other sustainable energy initiatives. You will also across M&A projects too, throughout the APAC region.
Develop and maintain relationships with financial institutions, investors, and stakeholders to secure optimal financing structures.
Conduct financial analysis and modelling to assess project viability and support investment decisions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop financing strategies that align with project goals and market trends.
Prepare comprehensive proposals and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and market conditions impacting the renewable energy sector.
Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Your background:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
Minimum of 8 years of experience with a strong focus on renewable energy financing.
Proven track record in structuring and executing complex debt transactions.
Strong understanding of renewable energy markets, financial instruments, and regulatory frameworks.
Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in financial modeling and analysis tools.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
