As we expand our reach into Hamburg, we are actively in search of an experienced and motivated Vice President of Mergers and Acquisition to assume a pivotal role in amplifying our influence within the renewable energy sector.

Position Overview:

As the Vice President of Mergers and Acquisition you will lead and oversee strategic initiatives in the renewable energy space. Leveraging your extensive experience in M&A within the renewable energy sector, you will be instrumental in identifying, evaluating, and executing complex transactions. This role presents a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our organization while driving impactful change in the renewable energy industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Deal Origination: Proactively identify and evaluate potential M&A opportunities within the renewable energy sector, conducting comprehensive market research and analysis.

  2. Transaction Execution: Lead end-to-end deal execution processes, from initial due diligence to final negotiations and closing, ensuring the highest level of diligence and efficiency.

  3. Financial Modeling: Develop detailed financial models and perform thorough financial analysis to assess the feasibility and potential synergies of M&A transactions.

  4. Due Diligence: Oversee rigorous due diligence processes, evaluating legal, financial, commercial, and operational aspects of potential deals.

  5. Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development of long-term strategies for M&A activities in the renewable energy field, aligning with the company's vision and goals.

  6. Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, investors, and industry partners.

  7. Team Leadership: Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.

  • + 8 years experience in M&A within the renewable energy sector, with a proven track record of successfully executing complex transactions.

  • Strong financial modeling skills and proficiency in financial analysis tools.

  • Exceptional leadership capabilities with the ability to mentor and motivate teams.

  • Results-driven mindset with a demonstrated ability to optimize financial outcomes.

  • Fluency in German and English

  • Willingness to work in Hamburg, Germany.
