Job title: UK Business Development Lead

Location: London Area, United Kingdom (Hybrid)

TGRC is currently looking for a UK Business Development Lead to work with a unique, climate fintech business.

This unique, well-financed, mission-led, start-up - partners with renewable energy & smart-grid installers, offering bespoke, fit-for-purpose project financing at the point of purchase, to end-users.

At this pivotal point of growth, the business seeks a UK Business Development Lead to drive forward, their partnership engagement – onboarding installers onto their financing platform & proactively impacting the UK’s decarbonisation - through renewable energy project financing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with Renewable Energy Installers, agree on heads of terms & originate partnerships.

  • Development of referral/incentive programmes to quickly build Installer loyalty and market share

  • Design and development of Partner vetting and onboarding processes that ensure newly engaged Installer Partners are high-performing and technically proficient

  • Develop tactical partnerships to create revenue generation opportunities including other parts of the installer supply chain, such as quote generation software packages and manufacturers

  • Customer success: onboard and ensure installers are actively using the platform and gathering feedback

  • Developing and tracking Installer performance KPIs

  • Conduct period market research and analysis

  • Attending conferences and events on behalf of the business

  • Creating a vibrant community of Installer Partners with targeted in-person and online events

  • Frequent travel may be required to meet and build rapport with installers.

You are:

  • experienced business development professional, with a strong renewable energy installer network.

  • in the renewable energy market (ideally, solar, battery, heat pump or other, related).

  • rapport builder – with the ability to engage with stakeholders at varying levels of seniority & different parts of the supply chain.

  • Autonomous & self-starting, with a proactive, can-do attitude
