Job Title: Technical Support Manager

Our client is a leading solar panel manufacturer based in Shanghai, China. They are seeking a Technical Support Manager to join their team and provide technical support to their customers in China and internationally. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the company's products are installed, maintained, and operated to the highest standards.
The Technical Support Manager will be responsible for providing technical support to the company's customers, including installers, integrators, and end-users. The role requires strong technical expertise in solar panel systems, as well as excellent communication and customer service skills. The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, and operations teams, to ensure that customers receive the highest level of technical support.
Provide technical support to the company's customers, including installers, integrators, and end-users, both remotely and on-site
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the installation, operation, and maintenance of solar panel systems
Conduct training sessions for customers on the installation, operation, and maintenance of solar panel systems
Maintain detailed records of customer support inquiries, including the nature of the problem, the steps taken to resolve it, and any follow-up required
Develop and maintain relationships with key customers and partners to ensure customer satisfaction
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues related to the company's products and services
Keep up-to-date with the latest technical developments in the solar panel industry and incorporate them into the company's technical support services
Participate in the development of technical documentation, including manuals, installation guides, and troubleshooting guides
Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or a related field
At least 5-7 years of experience in technical support or a related field, with a focus on solar panel systems
Deep understanding of solar panel technology and engineering principles
Excellent communication and customer service skills, including the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Experience conducting training sessions for customers
Fluency in English and Mandarin is required
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally to provide on-site technical support to customers
